SCHOOL VISITS AND BOOK STORE READINGS

Karen is passionate about engaging children in the wonderful world of books!

​

She loves reading to kids and is available for story time events with her book 'My Dog Bruiser Swallowed A Scooter' at your school or book store.

​

Karen's interactive storytelling sessions are a delightful way for children to experience a funny rhyming story about a mischievous dog. As they listen, they'll also learn about various fruits and vegetables from her own farm as featured in the book.

 

Each school or book store visit can include:

​

  • A fun interactive activity session involving fresh produce from the farm

  • Singing with musical instruments

  • Rhyming games

  • Colouring in fun​

For Teachers

With every booking, the school will receive a support pack including:


Customised artwork - to promote the visit on socials or in the school newsletter

Teachers Notes - to assist in further class planning with the book

PDF Flyer – promoting the event, ready to send to parents

​

We also like to support the school’s local bookstore.  

 

For those parents wishing to purchase the book, we provide a QR code to purchase directly from the bookstore that includes delivery of the books on the day of the reading so Karen can personally sign for the children.
